What's good everyone? This week was an interesting one to day the less. We were supposed to have a couple baptisms, and it was so hard to get a hold of them, but then one night we did and everything was big chilling. Well we got everything ready for the baptism, members were there to support, and our friends were nowhere to be found. In the entire day we had gone to their house on 5 separate occasions and nothing. But oh well, we made the most out of it.  On top of that, we found a bunch of super awesome people this week. One is our girl Jovita. She used to live with some members from another church, and they treated her badly and she was turned off of all religion. One night pretty late we felt to knock her door and she very easily told us to come back. We did and she said she didn't know why she accepted because she has been so turned off to religion to the point where she cuts of the radio or walks away from anyone that mentions God, and has been like that for 20 years. Summer is here

What's good everyone? I hope thins are just sailing along smoothly. That's what we are seeing over here. A lot of lessons and new people that potentially will be making a covenant here before we even know it.  Two of those people are Natividad y Santiago. A mom with 4 little kids, one being Santiago. They met the church because she is a single mom and needed help raising her kids alone. She saw posts of a friend on another country on facebook about the church and asked for the information and she showed up with all her kids alone last Sunday. She works all day everyday and her only day of break is Sunday. Usually people use that as an excuse to not go to church, but she knows the only way to help her kids grow up in a good environment, is taking them to church. She's been twice now and says her kids are already brighter. It's incredible to see the blessings that come from the restored gospel when we truly live and make it a priority in our lives.  We also had Transfer...

What's good guys? Things really started to finally pick up here in Linde. We are up to averaging like 6 lessons a day now versus the 1 a day we were getting last week and we are seeing way more progress from our friends. It makes it all way more worth it.  It was the last week of there transfer so we were just doing some hail maries to try and get people baptized before the transfer ended officially and we saw a miracle with Yessica! She has an extremely complicated parental relationship, but somewhere in there she's related to like 10 members that 3 months ago were super inactive, but nownthey come regularly, but Yessica never "felt ready" to be baptized. This week she got over her fear and got baptized! And she invited her entire family and so the room was so full of just family and it was an awesome moment from then. Hope it sparks a huge interest in the family and they can all return to church and the rest can follow in her steps.  Also one day as we were just o...

Happy June

Hi everyone, happy June! Can't believe that we are already in the month of June. The time has been passing very quickly. This week was a bit slower however. A lot of fallen through lessons and the need to find some good new people has very extremely high.  A nice little miracle this week cane from our girl Jhanet and her daughter Nicol. Their friend had brought them to church for the first time last Sunday and they loved it. We were finally able to have a visit with them. She had told us about some spiritual experiences she had had since coming to the church for the first time, and she believes we have the priesthood power restored and wants to be baptized by it, and will be next week!  It's been a grindy time recently, and it's going to continue as such. The miracles will come, I'm sure of it. Have an awesome week! Elder Holdstock
