Put a ring on it

What's up everyone how are you all doing?! This week was awesome! This week we met with a Fecabook reference named Jazmín that is the coolest person ever. A lot of bolivians, especially potosinos are super quiet and closed off, and she is just like that. But for some reason she trusts us so much that she tells us everything. Everything that she has done, and that is happening on her life, and just trusts us so much as servants of God that we can help her with all of her problems and receive the blessings from God. It's so cool! After our first lesson with her, she told us she was moving to Beni which is not close to here, and we were sad because she's a baptism for sure, but tye next time we visited her she said that the move was canceled!  This week we also got to see the wedding and baptism of the newly wedded family Mamani Ochoa. This family has been incredible. The way that they have trusted full-heartedly in the Lord and his miracles, and to seek that everything they...

I don't know how, but lets do this thing

What's up everyone! Another week gone just like that. This week was like a real life Rollercoaster. We had some of the highest highs I've ever had as a missionary, and also some of the lowest lows that I've ever had as a missionary. But despite all the lows and trials, we saw so many incredible miracles. It all starts with our family of Jesus, Estela, and Genesis. This family has been on date for this week for a while now. Their only problem being that they are not married. It is so incredibly easy to get married here, that it shocks me how many people aren't. Anyway we had a good lesson with our bishop/stake president there, and we talked about trusting in God and putting our full faith in him to see miracles. We visited them another time in the week and basically just hammered that idea into their heads and asked if they still wanted to go ahead with their date. We told them to talk about it and let us know the next day in the morning which would have been Friday. L...

We found Jesus

Hello everyone! I hope everyone is doing well and finding peace in their lives. This week was a lot tougher than the other ones for a couple reasons. I got the news that sweet little Grandma Smart has moved on to the next life which was super sad. I have so many awesome memories of here like when she taught us how to make pillowcases so we could have more sleep overs, or when she wouldn't even get mad at me when I put the whole peach in the jar while we were canning them, or when she would tell me I was crushing the ants underneath my hands when she taught me piano. She lived an incredible life and truly left a legacy. I think all my best jokes come from her so she will always be in my heart. I will miss her emails of just purely puns though  The rest of the week was also tough. We have so many people that are progressing so well, but decided to just avoid us this week for some reason. One was the family of Jesus and Estela. They're so cool, but when we showed up on Saturday...

God saved my life

What a crazy week everyone. I shouldn't be here right now, but God saved our lives. So basically we wanted to visit this family of a convert and we had scheduled the visit for Thursday. Well Thursday comes and we needed to visit them at 3, but for some reason we couldn't make it on time. We tried our best, but just couldn't. As we got close to the street, we turned the corner and we saw a huge semi truck that was destroyed and a bunch if rocks and pieces of a destroyed wall. As we got closer I saw the little banner thing the family has to advertise their little restaurant and started to get worried that something happened to them. Turns out they the family is fine but their house and business is completely destroyed from the massive truck that ran through everything. We arrived at like 3:20, and she told us everything went down at 3:00 which is exactly when we needed to be there. If we had showed up at the right time, we would have been stood at the door that now doesn...
