Oh man, this week was a little tough. Usually we enjoy a ton of lessons everyday and running from one place to the other to be able to get them all done, but that isn't what we enjoyed this week. We had our schedule full of visits like we normally would, but for some weird reason everyone had problems and we would have days where we had one lesson, then the rest of the day we would just walk and knock doors and contact people and it was a little rough. Despite all of that, this week we also found some ballers. One family especifically that I still can't believe. A reaaaaaaal long time ago, my first transfer in Potosí, we were searching for inactives from the member list and knocked this door looking for 2 members. We ended up talking to an active sister that led us there because it was her brother. We talked to the daughter of the inactive member and she showed interest so we started to teach her, but not very long in that her mom came down and kinda chastised her for talking...

What's good in the hood everyone? I hope everyone has had a good week because we certainly have. For several weeks we had been working with the same like 20 progressing people, butbthe majority ran into some big problems and just couldn't do it anymore. We were getting discouraged with them not following through with commitments, so we left the grand majority aside and this week the goal was fund news guys. I think that's also what God's plan for us was because wow did he come through. First we found a New family of 4 that is so cool. In the corner of their house they have a huge "mini" bar that is just full of alcohol, but they don't drink do were confused there, but it would look even cooler with some club soda y sparkling cider or something like that. They even have a painting of Jesus at the well with the woman that is straight out of a chapel. It's literally a church painting and they just found it and said it was beautiful. We showed then the p...

What's good in the hood everyone?  Bolivia continues to be so awesome with all the work and progress of our friends. This week flew by as if it were nothing because we have been so busy running from one visit to the next and sometimes teaching by the phone as we run from house to house. It's been very nice. It's like they say, a teaching missionary is a happy missionary.  This week we've had some really good experiences. We had zone conference and interviews with President and as it's Easter, we really focused it all on Jesus Christ and who he was, and who he is. Everyday I teach about him and testify of him, but sometimes it unfortunately becomes like a routine. When we take the time to pause and see how he really is, read his teachings, discover his attributes, it leaves a very strong impression on us of the things we need to better.  As it was Holy Week, every lesson we taught and testified of the love of our Heavenly Father for giving us His Son Jesus Christ. ...

Wait, that's my uncle!

What's up everyone how is life going for you all? I hope it's all grand and swell This week flew like it were nothing. We had transfers and usually that means for all the traveling from Potosí to Cochabamba we lose at least 3 days of normal missionary work. On top of that, when we tried to make the journey home, Bolivia decided to throw up some blockades so it made our 10-12 hour journey, one of almost 24 hours. But we made it home safe and sound in the end.  Conference was also an incredible blessing this week. Not only that but to see Elder Duncan up there made it even better. I loved the emphasis on a couple principles. 2 of the many were the focus on the Book of Mormón and how the study and application of the doctrine and gospel of Christ changes our life. I've been reading my journal from the beginning of my mission and it shocks me to see how much I have changed as a disciple of Jesus Christ. Not just because of tye physical features and things like that, but the pe...
