The church of Latter Day Saints

Image
Good Morning! God bless you and let him pour blessings over every step of your day. Those are the types of messages we have been waking up to this week. With pictures of flowers or tye virgin or something like that in the background. It's awesome. This week went by too quick. We have been trying to find new people, and God placed several right in our path. We take a lot of the public transportation, which are just these little vans, and we've been trying to talk to the people we wit next to. It's been hard because sometimes people just have their tik to or their cholita mucis on full blast, but through all of that, we were able to find a couple people. One of them actually spoke to us before we had even sat down, "are you guys from the church of latter day saints?" And she came to church yesterday too! Big money moves! We were also able to help Mashiel and Carmen make their first covenant this week. It was so cool. Mashiel had so many complications and wasn'...

Book of Mormon in real life

Gooooood morning everyone!  This last week was something else. You know in the book of Mormon when it talks about a town that's so wicked that if they don't repent God will destroy them? Well a lot of times that's like Bolivia. I thought that a lot in Potosi, but this week here too. Basically Quillacollo has a big 3 day party to adore the Virgin UrkupiƱa and it just fills the city with drunks and crime and its terrible, so we had to leave our zone and got the help in some other areas for a couple days. Despite that, we saw a ton of miracles in the few days that we were here in our area. The other week we invited everyone to baptism, and this week we had the majority of those baptisms. We were blessed to help Julio, Jose Luis, Fernando, Samir, Gloria, and Maribel make their first covenant with God this week. It was such a special moment.  It kinda left us without anyone to teach, so this week we will hit the finding grind to build everything back up real quick. God provi...

Invasion of the University of Adventists

Whats good everyone This week was pretty cool. We were so busy with a million things that were very productive. This week we had the visit of a seventy! Elder and Sister Villar came to the mission and we had a conferencia and a another meeting with them. It was so awesome. They talked a lot about how to get the most out of the new Preach My Gospel and how to be more productive with all of our time. Such a good guy. The whole week we were busy with all that, that we only had 1 full day in our area, but we still saw so many miracles. We had the baptism of our friend Evelin, and several people came to support. Our friends Samir and Gloria were also there and they were so excited saying, "next time it's my turn."  We received a reference this last week of someone that lived in the Adventist University. He had been talking with other missionaries, but wanted to receive a Book of Mormon and and learn about it. We went to gift it to him and all. He was so excited and then once w...

God prepares the hearts

Good morning everyone! Who are we all doing? Thus week was incredible. It flew by like nothing, but it was jam packed with so mamy memorabke moments. Last week we had an unresonably large amount of people at church, but no one was being prepared for baptism. Thus week we decided to invite every single one of those people to be baptized and access the powers of the atonement of Jesus Christ. We were shocked by how many people accepted and are now on path to be baptized very soon. I've been very focused on my prayers and how to improve them, and how to have the spirit guide them. I could see that my prayers before, during, and after each lesson helped the spirit to always be with me to have the power and conviction that each friend needed. God has been preparing the hearts of these people to take this step in their lives. One friend in particular was Samir and his wife Gloria. He is from Chile, and his wife is from Bolivia. He had been listening to the sisters for a couple weeks, b...
