What's good in the hood everyone?
I hope everyone has had a good week because we certainly have. For several weeks we had been working with the same like 20 progressing people, butbthe majority ran into some big problems and just couldn't do it anymore. We were getting discouraged with them not following through with commitments, so we left the grand majority aside and this week the goal was fund news guys. I think that's also what God's plan for us was because wow did he come through.
First we found a New family of 4 that is so cool. In the corner of their house they have a huge "mini" bar that is just full of alcohol, but they don't drink do were confused there, but it would look even cooler with some club soda y sparkling cider or something like that. They even have a painting of Jesus at the well with the woman that is straight out of a chapel. It's literally a church painting and they just found it and said it was beautiful. We showed then the painting from the church and they said, "wow God is incredible. I don't think that's a coincidence." The only problem with the family is that the dad works for the President is Bolivia and is gone a lot, but they still came to church!
We have also been blessed with some baller Facebook references. We had the baptism for Jazmin, the reference from 3 weeks ago who was supposed to move to Beni but didn't, so we baptized her here! She's awesome and has received so many answers. But this last week we got another of Danitza. She's a 19 year old who is basically the mom of her 2 sisters. We taught her the Restoration on Friday, she said she prayed and felt like someone was holding her hands on Saturday and knew she needed to take her sisters to church the next day, and on Sunday they came to church. 5 minutes before Sunday School, the counselor wrote us saying we were going to teach the class on covenants. We were talking to her afterwards about how it went and she said she was nervous and didn't think she'd like it, but she said she felt incredible and felt that this is the place where she should be. After learning about covenants, she said to us, "also I'm not baptized, what do i do to do that? I want to get baptized here." So we just threw a date at her and she's so excited and said she will work on her sisters so they also get baptized!
It's been an incredible with some many miracles! The work progresses!.
