how are you all doing? I'm just thriving out here in Bolivia speaking Spanish and stuff still. This is gonna be a super quick email because I am jam packed with tasks to do this week. 

I got 3 quick things for you all. 

Number one is that I bought a vest on pday two weeks ago and it´s the greatest purchase a  man has ever made in his life. Not like an old suit and vest type of thing, but a nice puffy type vest and now people call me the chaleco guy.

Number two is that we don't work a ton in our area, but we've been talking with our friend Ernesto who is progressing so well. He went from telling us that he just wants to learn more and doesn't want to change religion to now coming to church with us every sunday and telling us he learns so many new things that are aligned with what he's always thought. I think his most used frase with us is "Oh, super genial! eso no se hace en la iglesia catolica" but then because he also speaks english he says it English just in case for me jajaja "oh, super cool! we don´t do that in the Catholic Church."

Number three this week we bumped up our teaching pool from one to 4 in the matter of days. We are technically only allowed to have 2 people we are teaching, but 3 of them are friends so we say it's fine. We found them because last Sunday, this member from another ward showed up with his friend who lives in our ward. We met afterwards and talked and invited him to the baptism we were having later that day. He came, and we set up a time to visit him in his house. They just happened to have another friend there that used to have the missionaries at his house and he loved the book of mormon and still prayers "how the mormons taught him to" because that's when he gets his answers. Well yesterday, Ernesto came to church and so did our friends Gabriel and Brandon with their member friend. While i was up giving my talk, the member left and then walked back in with another one of his "colegio" friends. The man brought 3 friends to church who are loving the gospel messges. Be a member missionary! Invite someone to watch conference with you this week!

  Hola hola a todos! This week we celebrated mothers day here in Bolivia. Mothers day is a way bigger deal and no one works, and no wants to talk to you which was an awesome day. It consisted of just walking around trying to make any kind of conversation. One guy asked if we even believe in mothers in our church. Nice one, I think he might have won that encounter  But this week was good! Our teaching pool has decreased and decreased slowly over the last couple weeks. A big point of focus has been to rebuild the teaching pool. We've been spending a lot of time finding news which is kinda what we've always been doing. I used to tener miedo to knock someone's door or talk to someone on the street in Utah in a language I spoke fluently, but now I have seen a huge transformation with the help of my loving Heavenly Father and I am not nervous for any of that in a language I'm still learning.   Hola hola a todos! I don't have a lot to write this week. We had Transfers on Friday and I got a new gringo companion! His name is Elder Diaz from Maryland and he's cool. We have the same amount of time here in Bolivia so we're going to be grinding the Spanish so that we can be a part of so much success in this great work! Something awesome before transfers happened with our family that lives in the house with the red door and red roof. I can't remember if I filled in some information on but basically that lady Virginia that we met and told us she wasn't a member ended up being a member. But! She has two nietos that live with her and we've been teaching them and they've loved it and are all ready to get baptized this Saturday. Their names are Nathaly and Johan. Nathaly just learned English by watching movies and reading books so sometimed we just talk to her in English while her little brother just sits there trying so hard to understand. It's so fun! ...

Missing in action

  What's up everyone, hope that everyone had a grand old 4th of July. We definitely had our little celebration for the country of the Restoration here, just minus the fireworks. This week though was pretty baller.  Saturday last week our first counselor had told us he had met an inactive member that was a returned missionary. We went with him to meet him and it was true. It was also true that he had an 11 year old kid who hadn't been baptized yet. Which is weird because his dad has his missionary plaque on display in his house as well as every pamphlet and missionary manual that you can imagine. The kid asked to be baptized the first time we met him, and now the family is coming back to church so that he doesn't go inactive after his baptism. That's why he hadn't been baptized yet. His dad was scared to have him baptized and never go back. We also met another inactive member that no body would have been able to find. We have a ward missionary that is incredible. Her...
