I was on live national television
What's up everyone
How goes it
This week has been quite something, so many experiences that I never thought I would have as a missionary, but we were blessed in so many was to have an amazing week.
We on national TV! Last Monday afternoon we got a call from our President saying basically, "Elders, we are going to be on TV tomorrow. They're going to interview us and we're going to sing." So then we rushes to try and put together a good tabernacle choir sounding choir, and we showed up with a nice choir of 16 very inexperienced singers. But we did it and it was super fun and weird. Then I guess we did it well enough because a couple days later President called us again and said "Elders, we're going to donit again, but I can't go so a 70 is going to go with you, and you have to do it with a different group of missionaries." So then we showed up with an even less experienced group and made fools of ourself, buy it was memorable.
All of that was to promote this massive "Light the World" activity that we had in the most poppin part of Cochabamba on Saturday. Almost all the missionaries were there to contact as all the stakes did service and sang and it was super cool. There were more than like 3000 people there.
Gabriel also got baptized that day! He has been so excited and we've just been waiting and waiting for his birthday for like a month and half now and it finally came! He was so ready and is now walking around with his goal of getting the Priesthood and entering the temple as soon as he can with his friend.
It was a long quick week, but it was super cool. We also went to PFJ again which was super fun. Anyway, light the world this week! My companion and I have been visiting the members that won't be celebrating Christmas with someone this year and it brings a huge smile to their face to know they are loved! Share your light of Christ!
Feliz Navidad
